Readiness is not a checklist. It is a developmental pathway.

The Pathways Forward CCR Model defines college and career readiness as a developmental process through which individuals build the knowledge, skills, agency, connections, and navigation capacity needed to understand their options, make informed decisions, transition successfully, and persist within education, training, career, and workforce pathways. We aren't defining success as college enrollment. We are defining readiness as the capacity to understand, choose, enter, and navigate an appropriate pathway.
